I have a very specific problem. We are running some Podcasts in an environment in which I don’t want people to have admin privileges in Wordpress, but have them publish their own shows. This works pretty well, except that they cannot add a picture to a contributor without going into the specific panel in the publisher settings and setting the picture there. And you need admin privileges which I don’t want to give these people.
Am I overlooking something here? Is it possible to add that to the contributor feature in the post? Would it be a possible to set different abilities to Wordpress roles?
