I use podlove sind August 2021.
In the beginning, detected duration was working good.
Since several weeks, new posts alway have duration 00:00:00…
I changed nothing while creating episodes.
And: Some episodes do have a correct duration
(You can see them here in the list: Podcast: SEO für Starter - Sarah Depold - SEO-Beratung)
Can someone help?

Looks awful, though the episodes can be played on spotify and web!

That should be the problem. My episode is detected as 1 KB (though it works in Spotify, browser etc.).

I got the same problem since I’ve started using podlove a couple of days ago.
My workaround: I edit the time duration manually. You should not “quick edit” the episode afterwards. If you do podlove deletes all previous information.
