How to run two separate podcasts in one WordPress?

Due to several reasons I have to split my existing podcast into two new podcasts. The one existing podcast will continue with its two already existing separate feeds (iTunes/mp3). Now I’m looking to establish a second podcast hosted on the same WordPress-installation under the same domain. See the scenarios:

TODAY
URL: http://mypodcast.com/podcast
Feed #1: http://mypodcast.com/feed/iTunes
Feed #2: http://mypodcast.com/feed/mp3

FUTURE
URL: http://mypodcast.com/podcast
Feed #1: http://mypodcast.com/feed/iTunes
Feed #2: http://mypodcast.com/feed/mp3

URL: http://mypodcast.com/newpodcast
Feed #1: http://mypodcast.com/feed/newiTunes
Feed #2: http://mypodcast.com/feed/newmp3

Is it possible to realize such approach?
If so, how can I do it?
Or do I have to use separate WordPress-installations?

  1. Running a WordPress multisite setup and having one blog for each podcast.
  2. Using categories to split feeds.
