With the new Podlove Subscribe button, it does a nice job offering app alternatives depending upon the O/S.
We all know that our listing in iTunes is the most productive listing we can have because that’s where most new listeners find us.
I suggest that the feed link when being clicked by an iPhone, iPad, or iPod should be the Apple iTunes feed link rather than the standard Podlove feed link. This way, iTunes will record it as a subscription, and we’ll all get more exposure and better positioning in iTunes searches as a result.
Podlove can still track all plays via iTunes, can it not? So we really don’t lose anything by doing it this way as far as I can see, and we all have a lot to gain.
