New eipsodes not showing in iTunes

Yesterday i published a new episode of my podcast. It showed up immediatelyon all the standard clients like Podcaster, Overcast and Pocket Casts. I had a listener mail in and told me it didn’t show up on iTunes. I didn’t even know it was a thing to listen through iTunes :stuck_out_tongue:

Any ideas why it won’t show up there? Anyone experienced similar stuff? It’s been almost 24 hours now and still no episode. It seems to validate fine.

Well, that does show up in iTunes now. If there is a delay, it is all due to the timing of the iTunes Podcast Directory. You can’t influence when iTunes checks your feeds. It’s determined automagically by itself when to look for new episodes based on your usual publishing frequency. So it might be off a day or so.
