Placeholder avatars for contributors

Hello,
would it be possible to have placeholder avatar pictures for contributors that don’t feature a “personal” one? Maybe a male / female / not attributed picture will show up automatically if no picture was set in the contributor entry.

There’s actually a fallback to a Gravatar URL in place (that doesn’t seem to work). I’ll replace it with a static SVG.
