It has only taken me over a year to circle back on this. I went on to other things and now I am back on this.
My main feed is:

It performs as expected, showing the Main Image and Title and all the author related info assigned to the Podcast as a whole and all the Episodes created, regardless of what show they are assigned to.
Two test feeds for two shows are as follows. Each have a different Image and title assigned at the show level and each have one test audio sample.
Both show feeds are using the Main Podcast image (when I add the Podcast feeds to Apple Podcast, I always get the same title and Image); however the Episodes listings are correct, meaning that only the Episodes assigned to that Show are in the corresponding show feed.
The image that is assigned to the Show at the Show level, is never included anywhere in the feed. The image that is included at the Episode (item tag) level is the image assigned as the Feature Image on the post, not the Show Module image.

In summary, Show feeds only contain Episodes that are assigned to that Show. However, Show feeds always use the Main Image and Podcast title; even though the Show Image is attached within the Show module, it is never used anywhere in the Show feeds.
Actually none of the data entered in at the Show Module is making it into the individual show feeds. The expectation, at least for me, would be that Show level data would be used to over ride the top level Podcast data, as the feed is distinct as are the episodes included in Show feeds.
