[solved] PHP fatal error - DOMDocument not found

#1

Greetings,

I’ve been trying to test the Podlove plugin and after publishing my first sample episode the episode page only showed a white screen. Similar to a white screen of death, however I can access all other areas of the website.

The error logs show there’s a PHP fatal error, to be specific …

PHP Fatal error: Class 'DOMDocument' not found in /path/to/mywebsitename/wp-content/plugins/podlove-podcasting-plugin-for-wordpress/lib/dom_document_fragment.php on line 14, referer: https://biggercannabis.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=podcast

I set up an archive page using the podlove-episode-list shortcode, I have two sample mp3’s published and nothing shows up. https://biggercannabis.com/podcast-archives which produces this error …

PHP Fatal error: Class 'DOMDocument' not found in /path/to/mywebsitename/wp-content/plugins/podlove-podcasting-plugin-for-wordpress/lib/dom_document_fragment.php on line 14, referer: https://biggercannabis.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I didn’t want to submit a bug until I know for sure it’s a bug.

Thanks … Scott

Your are missing a PHP “dom” extension.

Thank you, this pointed me in the right direction.

I went through the update/upgrade process on the server and it must have added the dom extension.

Thanks again … Scott
