[solved] Podcast Logo won't update on iTunes/apple

Hi all,
I have changed the logo of my podcast 6 month ago.
iTunes and the podcast apple app, are still caching the old logo, which is not available online any longer.
I am using Feedburner as my URL for the podcast feed.
I have re-synched my podcast via podcastsconnect.apple.com and also feedburner, to avoid any caching.
Still, the old logo is visible.
I have no clue why.
I double checked, the new logo has the correct size and format as described by apple.

Looks like the Feedburner URL does not update properly.

There is also no Temporary Redirect configured for the original feed.

I would also move away from Feedburner earlier than later.

sure, I can get ride of feedburner.
One question though, if the feedburner url does not update properly, wouldn’t that mean, that new podcast episodes that I publish, would not be available?

The idea was to have feedburner, in case the feed URL changes in the future.
Do you know any other way to do that?
Or do you suggest, to use the wordpress/podlove feed directly?

Use your own domain as primary URL, use temporary redirects for FeedProxies like Feedburner or FeedPress (the latter works much better and does not give the impression it could go away any moment)

hi there,
I have the same problem with three different Podcasts. We changed the Artwork in Podlove and it will not update in iTunes. We are not using Feedburner, just Podlove.
