[solved] RSS Feed is invalid

Hello , i have been using Podlove for a while with no Problems.

But now the RSS Feed generated by Podlove is not valid anymore.

When i use validator.w3c.org it says:

This feed does not validate.

line 2, column 0: XML parsing error: :2:0: XML or text declaration not at start of entity [help]<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss version="2.0"

Appears to be fixed.

Looks like some plugin inserted [help] in the feed, which makes it invalid.

Hi Eric, the main error was that in the “Functions.php” where empty lines an the end.

I’ve got the same problem: feed invalid, empty line at xml beginning.
But it is not caused by functions.php (checked all files named like this), and not by any plugin (tried disabling all of them, except podlove).
Do you have any idea, what other files are generating the feed, which could insert this empty line?

If no plugin except the Publisher is active and the problem is still there. it could be the theme. You can switch to one of the default themes (“twenty…”) to check.
