Timed release: when does the episode show up in the xml feed?

i have now pre-produced the first 5 episodes and would like to start playing them out.

The mp3s are already on the FTP, now I want to put the episodes in wordpress with release date.

my question is: when will the mp3s be listed in the feed? are they already in the feed when the visibility is “private” or do they only show up with the “public” status?

Episodes appear in the feed immediately once published.

Private episodes, scheduled, drafts etc. are excluded from the feed. (But you can use the scheduling feature because once the scheduled time is reached, the episode status turns to public and appears in the feed)
