Podlove Web Player 5.8.0 compatible with Wordpress 6.6.2?

Hi,

I’m running Podlove Web Player 5.8.0 on Wordpress 6.4.5 and would like to update Wordpress to v.6.6.2.

Out of cuation I have not done so, because the Podlove Web Player plugin states compatibility only to 6.4.5 (Podlove Web Player – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org).

I also found these reports here that may suggest that it may not be compatible? But I’m not sure.

I’d rather avoid breaking the page by updating Wordpress, but on the other hand it seems not great to not be on the latest Wordpress version for potential security matters.

Is anyone here running the Podlove Web Player wordpress plugin with version 5.8.0 on Wordpress 6.6.2?

Yes, but I can’t create new episodes. The audio file appeared in the input mask, but the file does not load.
